Your Private Taxi Tour will show you areas of outstanding beautiful countryside, including, Stratford-upon-Avon, home to William Shakespeare's Birthplace, plus traditional quaint Cotswold villages, including Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Bibury.
Stratford upon Avon is a bustling market town, but more importantly was the home of the world’s most famous writer, William Shakespeare. Visit the beautiful half timbered house where the legendary Bard was born to gain fascinating insights into his childhood.
Enjoy a visit to Anne Hathaway's cottage and gardens. An unassuming, quaint thatched farmhouse, this amazing piece of history features original items of family furniture, including the Hathaway bed, surrounded by stunning gardens, see where Shakespeare courted his future bride.
The Cotswolds is an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the breathtaking scenery is dotted with tiny English villages that look like they have jumped out of a storybook. Enjoy visits to Bibury, a town that William Morris once described as "the most beautiful village in England", Bourton-on-the-water, known as "Little Venice" due to its series of low bridges and tidy stone banks and the sleepy town of Burford which features a gorgeous medieval bridge.
Who are our driver / guides?
Our driver / guides are all working cabbies who have studied and passed The Knowledge, but they are also qualified tour guides. Their qualifications come form the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers in conjunction with the Museum of London. They really know their facts, and cannot wait to share it with you.
